I rejected many proposals because I knew exactly what I wanted. I do not regret it. Someone who is not compatible simply is not compatible.

There is no single reason. Some women are waiting for the person their heart feels comfortable with, and that is their right. It becomes a problem when expectations are unrealistic or when the family pressures her against her wishes.
